Karl began his career at the tender age of 12 when watching Graham Kerr  the galloping gourmet on TV he decided that it was the life for him and began practicing almost straight away cooking meals at home for his parents. As time progressed Karl went to catering school at London’s famous Westminster College opened by the renowned chef Auguste Escoffier in 1910. whilst training at the college Karl worked evenings at the talk of the town in Leicester square. From there he gained a prestigious position at the Dorchester hotel under chef Anton mosimann where he worked with over 96 chefs to Michelin star standard. Then Karl’s first head chef position came as the chef de cuisine at London’s national liberal club in Whitehall. Karl has also attained gold level standard in international cookery competitions, from hotelympia to Bournemouth international festival of food and wine. Karl went from the club and hotel scene to London’s square mile to work for clients such as S.G.Warburg and Nat West bank before opening his first restaurant in Ireland in 2001 from there Karl and Debbie left Ireland  to open their  deli and restaurant in Lincolnshire and as you know by now the rest is history.
